That's what I just did on my last reinstall- put all my good "keeper" objects into far folders-it does make it much faster, and it locks the items so what you recatagorize them to stays that way, and it takes them out of programs like simcatagorizer so there are less pages to go through, and makes it easier to isolate bad files. SO worth the time and trouble when you download alot of stuff!

I have probably 200 heads DLed and about maybe 500 skins. the rest are CMX, Xskin and animations.

I probably should. I also read that if you convert all the IFF's to FAR objects the game runs way faster. So I might go to Simenhancer.com and DL his FAR/IFF program. I should also go through my skins and pitch old skins I never use. My skin folder is around 1700 files (including animations and stuff)

Neodarkside Quote: Lol, I have a ton of items from fan sites, some I use some I don't.

Dump those you don't use, Neo...makes the game run smoother *nods* Even putting unused objects into a folder out of the Sims folder helps if objects are just gathering dust in your game. :)

That might be a question for sweets, I'm clueless on objects.
