All my Zip files are sitting in one massive folder thats due for a burning to a CD. The zip file doesn't matter once the files are removed. basically its like cutting and pasting out of folder. thats all zip files do.

Hi, I'm new around here. Just thought I would say Hi and put in my 2 bits. I burn all my zips onto disk. I just like to keep them but they do take up too much space on the harddrive. You can delete them, once you have retrieved all the info from them, they are obsolete.

Hey - was wondering if you had to actually keep the zip file {the actual zip that u unzip } in the folder along with the unzipped files- Cuz they seem to hog some space as well-
do objects still work if you delete the actual zip file? hard to explain its the file that you hit to extract it to the folder..
WOuld love to just get rid of those babes! let me know thanks!!:P
