Verision 2.0
I downloaded the spanker 2.0, and when the characters try and use it, all it says is "missing animation". Can someone tell me what I'm doing or am I just stupid? :D Thanx!

Have you placed the iff. file in the downloads folder?

same thing happened to me, the zip file is missing the animation file. I got the file needed from sweets in order for the Fun Guy and the spanker to run with the animations.

the spanker 2 is a self extracting, self installing file. ALL files should be included with it including the anims.

Hmmm, well for some reason mine did not work. I Downloaded both files and still got the no animation thing, Sweets e-mailed me the ani file and it worked after that. So I don't know

animation woes
I too am having the same problem that others seem to have regarding the missing animation. Sweets, if you would be so kind, could you please send the ani files to me as well? I would be very, very grateful.

Well, I actually put the file in the objects folder... Im gonna try and put it in the downloads folder where it should be but im still unsure of the whole thing cuz all I had what the spanker file... Hope all goes well... Thanx for all the help :D

I also had lots of problems with the spanker. I had to put the ani files in both the downloads and skins directoyr to get it to work. I also had to make the iff file read only as it kept corrupting. but since I did all this it seems to work fine for me.

back for spanker 2.0
Aaargh.
Had to un/reinstall my game, and thought i'd backed my objects up. Whoops! So now i'm going around recollecting treasures.
Anyhow, after moving some of the files over to skins, I put the last one (The Spanker Version 2.0, 0 File, 205 KB) in downloads, and it's not showing in my game. What have I done incorrectly?
The read me doesn't have instructions for installation, so, I need someone to hold my hand on this. Sorry to trouble you, but the help would be appreciated.

The iff file should go into the downloads folder and the rest should go into the skins folder.

That's what I said I did (see above), I actually went back and checked to be sure. It's still not showing up in the game. Is there an alternative method for installation?

I did this as well, actually whenever I go into buy mode I click on that anyhow- I have a ton of dl's! Any other suggestions? Should I just re-download and reinstall it?
Also, i'm having trouble w/ the playful girls; they're doing their show, but when I click on them I get the dreaded "missing animations" bubble over my sims heads.
I installed the iff into the downloads in my JDS subfolder, and the other stuff went into skins. Where did I go wrong?

I tried all of the above before I posted.The spanker 2 is not an iff file it's a "0 file" ? So I think that is my problem.I went ahead and put it in the download folder and it didn't work . I looked where you said it might be -both places- and a couple others and still can't find it.It won't show up any in the Object Viewer program either.The original spanker is an iff file so I'm really confused. I've tried downloading it twice to find out if the first time didn't dld fully and still come up with a 0 file instead of an iff.Any suggestions?
