playful girls

*sigh* My peepshow playful girls are doing their job, but i've got the missing animation woes when I click on them. All of my Simulated object iff's are in my download folder in a JDS subfolder. Any other files (cmf, skn, cfp, cmx, etc.) are in my skins folder. Is there something i've installed incorrectly? Perhaps i'm missing some files?

Excerpt from an earlier post...

Put the .cmx and the .cfp animation files in ONE of the following places.

theSims\ExpansionPack\ExpansionPackAssets\ Make the "ExpansionPackAssets" folder in "ExpansionPack" folder if you don't have it.

OR into ...TheSims\ExpansionPack3\Animations\

OR into ...TheSims\gamedata\Animation\

OR place loosely among skins in ...TheSims\gamedata\skins

Placement will depend on your PC operating system. If one way doesn't work try another.
(Yeah, its work, but when the beds work its "too much fun" =)

The .iff always goes in the ...maxis\thesims\downloads file OR ...maxis\thesims\downloads\[subfolder you name]

The above directions were for user made lovebeds, but are also for any object accompanied by animation files.

I didn't know there were three different ways for this item to work. I've dl'd this before, and it worked perfectly when I put the addtl. files in the skins folder. Anyhow you can see where my confusion came from. Do you have any idea why this thing would work well installed one way one time, and then need to be installed another way the second time? I'm using the same computer I had when I originally got the object in January, so i'm a bit puzzled by it all.
