Any suggestion about the clothing rack?
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do about my formal clothing rack? Every time I try to use it, it crashes my game. I downloaded the patch, which is supposed to help but it hasn't helped a bit. I've even tried uninstalling then reinstalling the game but that hasn't helped either. I've used File Cop to try to locate bad skins but it hasn't found the problem. I would really like for my sims to be able to purchase some of the awesome gowns from this site but so far, no luck. Thanks in advance for your help.

Umm I am assuming you have HD right? Have you always had this problem with buyables? Or at least when you try to buy formals? I don't know if I can help but we'll try and find out what is going on.

Yes, I do have HD and though it hasn't always crashed when I used it, it started very soon. It's only the formal rack. The lingerie and swimsuit racks work just fine. I would appreciate it SOOOOOO much if you could give me any suggestions as to what to do. I knew this would be the place to go for help. You guys rock!

Thanks very much! Ok Have you ever tried downloading a recolored one?Did it do the same thing? It almost seems something is wrong with the formal skins that came with your game. Like you are missing some files. I think I know where all those files are at. Maybe if I find them I can email you the files and tell you where to put them. ???

I got it working again! WOO HOO!!!! I'm not even sure how I did it, but I just kept messing with it and now it no longer crashes. Thanks for all your help. Hell, I may learn this game yet!
